Are you wanting to go hiking while you are in Lake Louise but not feeling confident enough to go by yourself. This just might be the perfect tour for you!
You will meet your hiking guide at Lake Louise first thing in the morning and enjoy a full day hiking in the mountains at Lake Louise. The guide will tell you stories about the area and give you information on which animals you might be able to see in the area.

This is a hop on hop off experience for those not wanting to worry about getting a parking spot at the Lake Louise and now that you can’t drive to Moraine Lake yourself (the rules have changed this year 2023), a bus or taxi is the only option. There is free parking at the meeting point.
The bus departs Lake Louise once an hour on the half-hour from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. From Moraine Lake, the bus departs every hour on the hour between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
Once you reach Lake Louise, try out one of the amazing hiking trails, such as the Big Beehive hike. This hike gives you views overlooking Lake Louise and the Fairmont hotel and you will walk past the Lake Agnes Teahouse!

Lake Louise is a really special place during the Fall as it is full of gorgeous golden larches. This is a full day hiking tour on one of the best Fall day hikes in Banff National Park. The trail is called Larch Valley which is 11.1km long.
A tour is perfect for this hike because it is strongly suggested to hike in groups of 4 of more in this area due to the bears.
The tour includes pick up and drop off by your guide from your Lake Louise or Banff hotel, lunch and water and entry to Moraine Lake.

In my opinion, Winter is the best time to see Johnston Canyon because it is a little quieter and so magical!
